I Repeat!    (patterns)

There are patterns in color, shape, and size; Patterns in money and fractions. You use them when you draw a repeating design, And you use them in sequence of actions. (Like dancing!) There are patterns in decimals, patterns in time, In division and multiplication. Patterns in rhythm, patterns in rhyme- You know it's a pattern when you find the repetition. (Repetition!)             Chorus I repeat! What makes a pattern? A pattern repeats: The pattern of the notes, the pattern of the beats, The pattern of the words, the pattern of the rhythm- The patterns in music, you can make a song with them. Continue the pattern. A pattern is a tool. Look for a pattern to find a rule. Test the rule to make sure that it's true. If it works, you can figure out the next term too. (Repetition!) Look for patterns in the math you do. Identify a pattern, and a problem can be very easy for you!       (Easy for you!) Find the repetition, now! Skip-count-by fours! Four, eight, twelve, sixteen... (Seven tenths!) Money! Six cents, ten cents, fourteen cents... What's the next term? (Eighteen cents!) Time! Two fifteen, two thirty, two forty-five... What's the next term? (Three o'clock!)
